Why was it selected:
Exploring a woman’s relationship with her absent father, the film delves on themes such as memory, loss, and familial connections. Selected for the opening session of CLIT 2022, this touching short by Latifa Saïd made a great pairing with John Alexander’s Little Satchmo, a heartfelt documentary about Sharon Preston-Folta, the secret daughter of jazz legend Louis Armstrong.
