humanit\u00e1ria do mesmo.<\/p>\n<p>Por todo este percurso art\u00edstico e c\u00edvico, um festival de cinema e cidadania como o CLIT n\u00e3o podia deixar de a homenagear.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Lisbon, Sandra C\u00f3ias began her career in fashion at the age of 14, but she always had cinema as another of her passions, making her television debut in 1997, at the soap opera <em>A Grande Aposta<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Other important works followed, namely the series <em>Processo dos T\u00e1vora<\/em>, <em>Alves dos Reis<\/em>, <em>Pai \u00e0 For\u00e7a<\/em>, <em>Morangos com A\u00e7\u00facar<\/em>, <em>M\u00e9dico de Fam\u00edlia<\/em>, <em>Super Pai<\/em>, <em>Um Estranho em Casa<\/em>, <em>Deixa-me Amar<\/em>, <em>Casos da Vida<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>In cinema, she has taken on dozens of roles in movies by the greatest Portuguese directors and in international projects (Brazil and USA), such as <em>Inferno<\/em>, <em>Maria and the Others<\/em>, <em>A Shot in the Dark<\/em>, <em>Second Life<\/em>, <em>Dores e Amores<\/em>, <em>A Teia de Gelo<\/em> and <em>We Used to Know Each Other<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She received the career distinction Pr\u00e9mio Augusta \u2013 Manoel de Oliveira, from Bragacine, among other collective awards.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel to her work as an actress, she has been active in the animal, environmental and humanitarian causes, actively collaborating with institutions and NGOs such as Sea Shepherd or WWF.
